Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Safety, Airworthiness or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 15+ years related experience managing certification activities, leading teams to solve complex issues, and coordinating with regulatory authorities to include 5 years of management/supervisory experience.
Position Purpose:
The Gulfstream Certification, Safety and Regulatory Affairs organization represents Gulfstream in matters of product certification, international validation, issue resolution and escalation of complex compliance and safety matters under the purview of Innovation, Engineering and Flight (IEF). The organization also oversees and advances Safety Management activities to include Continued Operational Safety functions, SMS Part 5 compliance activities, coordinates with industry to advance regulation and policy, and works to streamline associated processes. This position has the responsibilities, accountability and authority for the successful execution of these activities. Job Description
