Summary: Responsible for helping elders and other patients maintain a safe and clean home, including various housekeeping tasks, meal preparation and companionship activities for clients in their homes. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions: -Doing the weekly grocery shopping. -Cleaning, cooking, and doing the laundry. -Staying up-to-date nutrition and hygiene. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? yes Licenses and Credentials Experience Clinical/Hospital/Managed Care Office Experience 1-2 years preferred or Patient Care Experience 0-1 year preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledgeable in patient care practices, including personal care, homemaking, and basic health care services. - Ability to work with limited supervision. - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. - Have good personal hygiene. - Able to do light housekeeping. - Good communication skills both written and oral.
