Our client is seeking a Graphic Designer for a San Diego Client in the foodservices hospitality space. This is a contract to hire role, 4 days a week onsite, remote Fridays. Provides graphic design services supporting marketing collateral, catalogs, direct mail, and sales tool development. Essential Functions
- Create and develop marketing collateral, catalogs, flyers, PowerPoint presentations, product mockups, and various sales tools.
- Prepare images and graphics for e-commerce and social media use, including retouching when needed.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and independently while meeting deadlines.
- Recommend graphic design direction based on project briefs.
- Develop innovative design and branding solutions throughout the creative process.
- Collaborate closely with the design team, brand manager, and other stakeholders to achieve optimal project outcomes.
- Support other corporate teams with creative design solutions as needed.
- Stay current on graphic design software, tools, and best practices.
- Keep up to date on industry trends and share insights with the marketing team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of graphic design experience, including multi-page layout, typography, and color theory in a corporate marketing or advertising agency environment.
- Proficiency in:
- Marketing collateral, catalogs, flyers, product mockups, and sales tools development
- Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat
- (Preferred) Experience working in a Mac environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and artistic ability.
- Experience with email and social media graphic development is a plus.
