Job Summary We are seeking a part-time, 32-hour Audiologist to join our outpatient Mass General Brigham ENT team located at 361 High Street in Somersworth, NH. The 32-hour weekly schedule offers a consistent four-day workweek and no weekend requirements. MGB ENT provides comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and surgical care for disorders of the ears, nose, throat, face, and neck, including upper respiratory allergies.This role will primarily administer audiogram exams and will work alongside a collaborative team of two other audiologists, surgeons, and additional medical providers in a busy outpatient setting seeing patients of all ages, pediatrics to elderly. There is a manageable patient volume of approximately 8 patients per day, with 40-50-minute appointments. There is built-in administrative time to support clinical responsibilities and dedicated scheduling support, allowing our providers to remain focused on patient care. Summary Responsible for selecting and fitting hearing aids for customers. Administers and interprets tests of hearing. Assesses hearing instrument efficacy. Takes ear impressions and prepares, designs, and modifies ear molds. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions: -Tinnitus evaluations, counseling, and treatment. -Monitor patients' progress and provide ongoing observation of hearing or balance status. -Fit, dispense, and repair assistive devices, such as hearing aids. -Educates patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment options and continuing care. -Research causes and potential treatments for hearing and balance disorders.
