Primary Responsibilities: The basic function of this position is to process work orders through the production function utilizing process procedures and quality checks to insure on-time, correct deliveries. General Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor conveyorized wetprocess equipment such as desmear, etch, develop, strip, clean, oxide, Sanding & scrubbing, and rinse lines.
- Set up process parameters, including conveyor speed, temperature, spray pressure, and chemical concentrations.
- Perform routine chemical titrations and solution checks to maintain proper bath chemistry.
- Add chemicals, adjust concentrations, and document all chemical maintenance activities.
- Inspect panels before and after processing to ensure proper etch quality, cleanliness, and surface condition.
- Load and unload PCB panels onto conveyorized lines while preventing scratches, contamination, or handling damage.
- Monitor equipment performance, including pumps, heaters, filters, spray bars, and nozzles, to ensure stable operation.
- Perform daily and weekly equipment cleaning, including filter changes, nozzle cleaning, and tank maintenance.
- Record process data, chemical readings, and production information accurately in logs or MES systems.
- Identify and report process deviations, equipment malfunctions, or recurring defects to engineering or supervision.
- Follow job travelers, work instructions, and engineering documentation for each production run.
- Handle chemicals safely and follow all PPE, ventilation, and hazardousmaterial procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with 5S and facility standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to yield, throughput, and process stability
- Support crosstraining efforts and carry out other tasks assigned by the supervisor to meet production needs.
