Position Title:Talent Acquisition Recruitment Specialist - Adult Services (On-Site)

The Talent Acquisition Specialist manages recruitment activities to strategically attract and secure top talent dedicated to the care of OU Health's patients. This role acts as a partner to hiring managers, candidates, and the Talent Acquisition team. Key responsibilities include identifying and utilizing effective recruitment tools to build candidate pipelines, collaborating with hiring managers to assess recruitment needs, implementing targeted recruitment strategies, managing requisitions and job postings, ensuring the selection of high-quality candidates, and formulating job offers. Acts as a Brand Ambassadordemonstratingknowledge of OU Health service lines and total rewardsbenefitpackages. ChampionsOUHealth Talent Acquisition practices to ensurebest in class, efficient candidate experiences thatreflectOU Health's brand,cultureand growth throughout the entire recruitment process. ModelsadherencetoService Level Agreements (SLA)toensurea smooth and efficient hiring process Stayswell-informedofrecruiting strategies and market trends to recommend processes to enhance the hiring process. Partners with hiring leaders to develop recruitment strategies forcritical and/orhard-to-fillpositions.Utilizes data to make informed recommendations. Recommends and coordinatesad placement with internal and external agents. With HR Leadership approval,utilizesstaffing agencies and external search firms.Servesasliaisonbetween hiring leaders and external staffing sources. Collaborateswith hiring leaders toidentifyexpectations, clarify processes andunderstand talent needsto provide the most qualified, best fit candidates.Makes recommendations to ensure proper applicant flow. Identifiesqualified candidates for vacant positions by screening resumes, conducting interviews by phone, inpersonor virtually. Utilizes sourcing techniques toidentifyqualified passive and active candidates and improve candidate flow. Conductsstrategic recruitment activities including attending/planning and organizingjob fairs, conferences, on-campusand otherspecial eventsrelated to Talent Acquisition. Ensures excellent candidate and hiring manager experiences by promptly responding to applicants, schedulinginterviews, andprovidingtimelyupdates throughout the hiring lifecycle. Maintainsaccurateinformation in the Applicant Tracking System toensurecompliance with organizational policy, procedures and state and federal employment laws. Calculates and negotiates job offersforthe hiring manager's selected candidates.Manages thecounterofferprocess ensuring proper approvals and communication. Communicatesdeclinationsto candidates in a positive manner.Assistsstrong candidates in finding other opportunities in OU Health that align with their skills and qualifications. Collaborates with other teams in Human Resources to ensurea positive experience for hired candidatesduring onboarding. Actively and collaborativelyparticipatesin team meetings and strategy sessions. Participates in professional development activities and SLA/KPI reviews to improve results and share market insights. Providessupport, training,guidanceandassistanceto other team members.
General Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in recruiting and talent acquisition required. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification at the time of hire or attainment within 12 months of hire. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices. Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen. Advanced ability to use Applicant Tracking Systems, experience with Workday preferred. Self-motivated professional that works well under pressure and with limited supervision. Highly organized with ability to multi-task and manage a high volume of requisitions. Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Strong ability to build and maintain relationships. Strong ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Strong ability to provide excellent customer service to candidates, leaders and team members. Advanced understanding of best-in-class recruitment practices.
