The Opportunity: The Assistant Director, Residence Life & Education provides leadership and oversight for a residential area currently comprising 12 residential communities serving approximately 8,000 residents. This position offers strategic direction and operational guidance to residence life staff, including Residence Life Coordinators, Graduate Coordinators, office support staff, and student staff (Resident Assistants and Office Assistants). This role performs complex professional student services work, addressing multifaceted residential concerns by assessing situations, developing appropriate courses of action, and implementing effective solutions. In addition to primary responsibilities, the Assistant Director leads a key collateral area, which may include professional staff training or social engagement and large-scale programming initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's and 4+ years of relevant experience or Masters degree and 2+ years of relevant experience with at least 1+ year(s) of leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Preferred Qualifications:
