Your role

As a CNC Machinist III, your mission is to be a highly skilled professional responsible for advanced machining operations, mentoring others, and contributing to technical problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires leadership, deep technical expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence. You will report to the Team Leader.

You will

* Expertly operate and troubleshoot HMC, mill-turn, grinder, and balancer machines across various part families.
* Serve as a subject matter expert in safety, quality, and SOP compliance.
* Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex machining or process issues.
* Champion 6S workplace practices and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
* Lead root-cause analysis in collaboration with engineers and team leaders when technical issues arise.
* Mentor and train junior machinists, supporting skill development and team knowledge transfer.
* Recommend process optimizations and support pilot runs or new setups as needed.

You have8+ years of CNC machining experience with demonstrated technical leadership.

* Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and CNC programming basics.
* Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting, setups, and precision adjustments.
* Strong communication skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration.

Job location

On-Site
This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Buffalo, NY. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
