Key Responsibilities

The Deal Analyst position is responsible for analyzing, and processing request for quotes from our sales force. The goal of this position is to streamline and optimize our deal management, by providing information such as pricing, technical specs and shipping dimensions. This position requires demonstrated analytical capabilities, strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Responsibilities
* Negotiating cost on large quotes ranging from 5k to 50k
* Average 5% savings across all bids annually
* Average Potential savings $150k annually
* Analysis of current market (Global and industry) to determine best technique for negotiation
* Developing and maintaining vendor relationships.
* Cross 400 lines of items from competitors
* Answer product inquiries and provide best solution for the customer' application*

Competencies and skills

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management
* 2 years in Purchasing or Marketing
* 2 years' experience negotiating cost for large project or price increases highly preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to decipher complex or technical information for others
* Able to present fair and amicable resolutions
* Manage multiple priorities and activities concurrently.
* Excellent PC skills required in MS Word, Excel, Explorer and Outlook. Pivot table experience preferred.
* Outstanding oral and written communication skills
