As a Security Officer Exterior Patrol Guard in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff while bringing a caring, agile, and reliable approach grounded in teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, observe guest and vendor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating clearly with management, local authorities, and/or emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
