Job Summary

This is a part-time position and performs various duties: interacts and communicates with students, staff, and adjuncts in-person, online, phone, email, chat; and provides guidance on college course materials. Learns Computer Technology Department courses. Assists department in retention and student success efforts. Works under the direction of the Instructor Senior. Location of work: 2323 W. 14th Street, 5th floor, Tempe, AZ 85281

Essential Functions

50% - Responds to course-related inquiries from students, staff, and adjunct faculty via in-person and virtual support.
20% - Actively participates in ongoing training and development related to course content and delivery.
10% - Provides general support and assistance to the department as needed.
10% - Assists with the daily operation and upkeep of the Computer Lab.
10% - Develops training materials, including documents and videos, to support students, staff, and adjunct faculty.

Minimum Qualifications

A. Customer service experience

B. Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening

C. Effective written communication skills

D. Team player

E. Experience with Microsoft Office products

F. Experience with Windows Operating System

G. Experience troubleshooting basic computer issues

Special Working Conditions

Required to sit for prolonged periods of time viewing a computer monitor.
