What to Expect
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Engagement Program Manager to join our Workplace team at Gigafactory New York. As a key member of our team, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive community engagement strategies focused on Buffalo, with an emphasis on budgeting, outreach, community partnerships, and school/university collaborations.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute comprehensive community engagement strategies to enhance Tesla's presence and impact in Buffalo
  • Build and maintain relationships with local community leaders, organizations, stakeholders, and educational institutions
  • Design, implement, and oversee outreach programs, events, and initiatives that foster community connections
  • Develop and manage partnerships with schools, colleges, and universities
  • Create and manage annual budgets for community engagement initiatives and events
  • Track engagement metrics to measure program effectiveness and inform future strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align community engagement efforts with Tesla's overall mission and manage day-to-day program operations

What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in community engagement, public relations, or a related field
  • Strong relationships with local community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders in Buffalo
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills with attention to detail
  • Strong project management, organizational, and event planning experience
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to track and measure program effectiveness
  • Experience with budget management, financial planning, and working in fast-paced environments
  • Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work for community events

    Expected Compensation
    • Associate Legislative and Policy Associate - $72,000 - $108,000/annual salary
    • Legislative and Policy Associate - $93,600 - $140,400/annual salary
    + cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
