Your role

Compensation: Base salary range up to $115K plus annual bonus potential and auto allowance.

Product Sales (65%) - Prospect, source, and maintain quality Distributors in assigned area. Achieve and exceed assigned sales goals by supporting / developing action plans and schedules to support all distribution channels. Establish rapport and maintain regular contact with existing and new distributors (particularly Platinum distributors). Respond promptly to distributor inquiries. Introduce new products. Study distributor needs and coordinate customer service with CSO Parts teams. Actively engage in planned prospecting activities geared at increasing the distributor's sales and continually increasing your distributor's consumption & 1 to 1 ratio (CTS market share).



  • Obtain, develop or otherwise prepare, deliver, and present Training, support warranty, Goodwill & One Portal usage. Make regular visits to Distributor locations and support in the field with challenged end customers. Work closely within the Regional Management team to increase communication between Direct & Indirect channels
  • Train and develop distributors on all CTS products & systems. Promote and push the DRP program (Distributor Rewards Program) to all distributors were applicable. Participate in Monthly results updates and Quarterly Business Review Meetings.
  • Maintain a professional image and attitude at all times through personal actions and initiatives. Enhance division and Company reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the Company's core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation. Drive our principles of "First in mind, First in choice."
  • Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all relevant internal and external business partners relevant to this mission.


Personal Development (15%) - Take personal responsibility for your own career development by updating job knowledge (for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills) by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; networking; and participating in professional organizations. Utilize the Global Business Portal, Internal JobMarket database, Competence Portal and engage in other competence development activities to continually work towards personal growth and career development.

Reporting (5%) - Prepare monthly reports as assigned relative to activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and performance against sales goals. Report immediately to management any special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity, including recommendations for product, service, pricing changes and evaluation of competitive developments.

Supervision (15%) - Provide day-to-day oversight and supervision for the Indirect Channels for CSO in the Central Region



  • Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to Distributors & their customers.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.
  • Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.


Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Vice President.


To succeed, you will need

Experience:



  • 3 years of relevant industrial service/parts sales experience a must, preferably in the compressed air industry


Education:



  • Four year degree in business or marketing or equivalent work experience.


Skills:



  • Must be self-directed and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. Must have proven business analysis skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Travel required. Must have a valid driver's license.


Travel:



  • Up to 50% local travel, up to 30% overnight travel
