Restaurant Supervisor - Cap Rock Clubhouse Position Summary Horseshoe Bay Resort's members-only flagship restaurant at Cap Rock Clubhouse is seeking an experienced and polished Restaurant Supervisor. This role is responsible for driving exceptional guest satisfaction by leading a high-performing team, maintaining service excellence, and ensuring seamless coordination between front-of-house and kitchen operations in a luxury dining environment. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership
- Shift Management: Oversee opening and closing procedures using established checklists; ensure proper floor coverage and maintain a visible presence throughout service.
- Service Standards: Train, uphold, and enforce brand service standards; conduct daily taste panels and menu education sessions.
- Problem Resolution: Address operational challenges proactively, including staffing shortages, reservation changes, and guest concerns.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure food quality standards are met before service; manage maintenance needs through inspections and work orders.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Labor Management: Align staffing levels and scheduling with budget and occupancy forecasts.
- Revenue Controls: Execute proper check handling and revenue procedures; manage timekeeping and scheduling adjustments.
- Business Support: Assist with marketing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to drive outlet performance.
Guest & Team Engagement
- Member Relations: Actively engage with members to gather feedback and build relationships.
- Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment through coaching, fair practices, and hands-on support during peak periods.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workplace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications Education & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience in a high-volume or luxury setting
- High school diploma or GED required; degree in Hospitality or Business preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
Certifications & Skills
- Valid TABC and Food Handler certifications required
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, POS systems, and OSHA standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Demonstrated professionalism, strong work ethic, and team-focused mindset
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Adherence to all safety protocols and reporting procedures
- Maintain a professional appearance, including proper footwear
