Office of Civil Discourse and Engagement: The Office of Civil Discourse and Engagement (CDE) within the Ginsburg Center for Inclusion and Community Engagement in the Access and Community Engagement division, expands existing efforts and expertise to engage in constructive conversations with educational programs to increase awareness, enhance knowledge and understanding, and offer alternative or varied solutions to important social problems. CDE offers these opportunities to faculty, staff, students, and the community. The Opportunity: The Office of Civil Discourse and Engagement at UCF is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to play a key role in advancing the CIVIC (Civil Interactions and Viewpoints for Interpersonal Competence) initiative, an innovative, grant-funded effort focused on strengthening civil discourse across campus. This position will lead the implementation of high-impact programs that support student learning, faculty development, and campus-wide engagement around meaningful dialogue and civic participation. This role is ideal for a collaborative and forward-thinking professional who thrives in building programs from the ground up and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments. The successful candidate will bring strong program management experience, a passion for civil discourse and student success, and the ability to translate ideas into scalable, impactful initiatives that advance UCF's commitment to meaningful engagement. This position is funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education Special Projects Program (FIPSE-SP). The grant is administered by the Office for Grant Initiatives and Partnerships. This is a Contract and Grant (C&G) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted. The CIVIC grant is expected to be funded through December 2029. Responsibilities: The Civil Discourse and Engagement Program Manager will support key components of the CIVIC grant, including project planning and implementation, tracking progress toward performance measures, and collaborating with the CIVIC project team to sustain civil discourse initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Preferred Qualifications:

The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations. This is a Contracts & Grants (C&G) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted. The CIVIC grant is expected to be funded through December 2029. Position requires a valid Class E driver's license. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.
