Summary:
The Vocational Services Employment Specialist II role provides support to individuals with disabilities in jobs in their communities. This includes training individuals in job tasks, assessing progress towards mastery, and developing goals and interventions to maximize independence.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: HSD/HiSet required. Two years of college preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: State of Maine's Job Coach Training required or achieved after hire. Valid Driver's License required.
  3. Experience: One year experience working directly with individuals with disabilities required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of Vocational Services - Employment Specialist I role.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Travel to multiple community locations to deliver services.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A

The pay range for this position is $20.27to $24.36 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
