What You'll Do
  • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems
  • Work with multi-functional teams to build and deploy scalable machine learning solutions
  • Conduct research and stay updated on the latest trends in machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Optimize machine learning models for performance and accuracy
  • Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and drive data-informed decisions
  • Engage in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high-quality standards in software development
  • Explore and apply emerging AI capabilities, including agentic systems and generative AI, as we extend the reach of our core analytical solutions
What You Need to Succeed Educational Requirements

Ph.D. degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a relevant field, OR Master's degree in these fields with 2+ years of relevant industry experience

Core Skills
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar
  • Strong foundation in probability, statistics, and mathematical modeling
  • Knowledge of common machine learning algorithms and techniques
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making
Additional Qualities
  • Experience contributing to the development and deployment of machine learning models, including in production environments
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced settings
  • A passion for knowing the latest advancements in machine learning and continuous self-improvement
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse collaborators
  • Exposure to or curiosity about generative AI and agentic AI frameworks, and how they complement and extend traditional ML workflows

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $125,600 -- $234,150 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $161,700 - $234,150

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
