Nous sommes a la recherche d'un(e) ingenieur(e) en electronique pour concevoir, developper et tester de nouveaux produits electroniques destines a notre secteur de la refrigeration et de la climatisation de confort. La personne titulaire du poste jouera un role cle dans le developpement de nouveaux produits, tout en contribuant a la resolution de problemes techniques lies aux produits existants, tant en production que sur le terrain.

Elle travaillera en etroite collaboration avec les equipes de gestion de produits, de chaine d'approvisionnement et de qualite.

** Nous cherchons a pourvoir ce poste a l'un ou l'autre de nos sites de Mirabel (Quebec) ou de Washington (Missouri).

Position Summary:

We are seeking an Electronics Engineer to design, develop, and test new electronic products for our refrigeration and comfort cooling sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in new product development while also contributing to the resolution of technical issues related to existing products, both in production and in the field.

This person will work closely with the Product Management, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.

** We are seeking to fill this position in either our Mirabel, Quebec or Washington, Missouri location.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Responsabilites principales:

• Concevoir et tester des circuits electroniques pour de nouveaux produits ainsi que pour l'amelioration de produits existants.

• Superviser la conception des cartes electroniques (PCB) et gerer les nomenclatures de pieces (BOM).
• Identifier, evaluer et approuver des composants de remplacement au besoin.

• Planifier, coordonner et soutenir les essais de qualification des produits.

• Preparer et maintenir une documentation technique detaillee pour les nouveaux produits.

• Developper les montages et les procedures de test destines a la production.

• Coordonner les essais de conformite realises dans des laboratoires externes et analyser les resultats obtenus.

• Offrir un soutien technique general aux autres departements de l'entreprise.

Responsibilities:

• Design and test electronic circuits for new products and revisions of existing products.

• Oversee printed circuit board (PCB) design and manage bill of materials (BOMs).

• Identify, evaluate, and approve alternate components as needed.

• Plan, coordinate, and support product qualification testing.

• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for new products.

• Develop test fixturing and testing procedures for manufacturing.

• Coordinate product compliance testing with external laboratories and analyze the results.

• Provide general technical support to other departments within the organization.

Qualifications

Profil recherche:

• Baccalaureat en genie electrique.

• Experience significative en conception et developpement de produits electroniques.

• Maitrise des logiciels de CAO pour circuits imprimes, notamment Cadence Allegro, OrCAD ou **KiCAD**.

• Bonne experience avec les equipements de laboratoire en electronique, tels que l'oscilloscope, le generateur de fonctions et le multimetre.

• Experience des normes **IEC 61000**, un atout important.

• Capacite a effectuer de la soudure et du retravail de composants CMS (SMD) sous microscope.

• Connaissances de base en programmation embarquee en **C / C++**.

• Excellentes habiletes en communication orale et ecrite.

• Grande capacite d'apprentissage et aptitude a gerer plusieurs dossiers a la fois.

• Experience avec la famille de normes **UL 60730**, un atout.

• Bonne comprehension des principes de refrigeration, un atout.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

• Significant experience in electronic product design and development.

• Proficiency with PCB CAD tools (Candence Allegro, OrCAD, KiCAD preferred).

• Strong experience using electronic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters.

• Experience with IEC61000 standards is considered a strong asset.

• Ability to solder & rework surface-mount components (SMD/SMT) under a microscope.

• Basic knowledge of embedded programming in C / C++

• Excellent communication and writing skills.

• Strong learning agility and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Experience with UL 60730 family of standards is a plus.

• Good understanding of refrigeration principles is preferred.
