Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE

Responsible for setting up castings to run on the CMM Machine using established programs, processes, and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Operates CMM machine using established programs

  • Operates CMM machine using established programs
  • Performs dimensional inspection on product using a CMM, calipers, micrometers and height gauges.
  • Performs visual and dimensional inspection on product per procedures.
  • Performs deburr operations as needed
  • Maintains lot integrity.
  • Ensures paperwork is properly done.
  • Helps other areas as needed.

OTHER GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Able to work in a production environment.

  • Able to read and comprehend English.
  • Able to work with basic mathematical concepts.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. continuously.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to write
    simple correspondence.
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or

diagram form. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized

situations.

  • Near vision requirement is Jaeger J1 in on eye, at no less than 12 inches; or equivalent, or Jaeger J2

in one eye, at no less than 16 inches. Corrected or uncorrected.

  • Able to communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Complies with company and departmental policies and procedures, including company's attendance

policy.

  • Able to meet individual productivity requirements.
  • Able to meet internal quality requirements.

  • High school diploma or GED. Machinist certification is a plus.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $34.75 to $52.25 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
