We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic creative studio, partnering directly with our esteemed client, a leader in global healthcare. In this pivotal role, you will be the guardian of content quality, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance for materials that inform and educate. Your expertise will directly contribute to the integrity and success of vital promotional and non-promotional content, ultimately supporting the delivery of groundbreaking medical solutions.

**What You'll Do:**

* Electronically copy edit and proofread print and digital assets for approval within the Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR) system, from initial submission through production proof.

* Ensure all content strictly adheres to brand, company, and industry guidelines, including AMA style.

* Maintain rigorous compliance with established company and brand style guides.

* Utilize top-notch organizational skills to manage feedback from multiple reviewers, annotate electronically, meet tight deadlines, and ensure consistency across all materials.

* Edit for consistency, provide insightful commentary, and uphold brand style throughout review cycles, taking ownership of brand voice and claims.

* Apply working knowledge of electronic workflow systems like Aprimo or Veeva, or quickly adapt to similar platforms.

* Participate in on-site and/or live review meetings and interactions requiring in-person contact when necessary.

* Exercise sound judgment in decision-making, knowing when to escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders.

* Leverage exceptional proofreading, grammar, and punctuation skills to deliver high-quality output.

* Work autonomously while managing multiple projects simultaneously with concurrent deadlines.

* Stay current with all relevant industry guidelines and standards to remain a subject matter expert.

* Contribute to operational efficiencies by demonstrating proficiency with electronic and online editing and review tools.

* Exhibit proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and its commenting tools.

**What You'll Bring:**

* Bachelor's degree in English or Communications.

* 3-7 years of editing experience within a pharmaceutical company, creative studio/agency environment, or medical publishing company (Senior roles require 10+ years).

* Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the AMA style guide is essential.

* Proven experience reviewing materials using an electronic approval system such as Aprimo or Veeva.

* Working knowledge of FDA guidance on pharmaceutical advertising.

* Meticulous attention to detail.

MUST BE PROFICIENT IN MS OFFICE: WORD, EXCEL AND POWERPOINT.

The target hiring compensation for this role is $75-80K. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.

Additional benefits offered may include: medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match (if applicable).
