Work Schedule:
Part-time day shift position. Monday - Friday between the hours of 6:00AM to 5:00PM as needed. This position will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to:

  • Perform routine, complex and specialized nuclear medicine procedures and/or PET imaging.
  • Work in a variety of imaging sections, including a Level 1 Trauma Center and/or critical care areas, assist other radiology modalities and/or clinical services.
  • Utilize a wide variety of nuclear medicine equipment and computers. Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA/QC and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system (PACS).
  • Receive an excellent work-life balance with a supportive team culture.

  • Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and assist in training of fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field Preferred

Work Experience

  • Previous healthcare experience Required
  • 2 years clinical experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Certification by appropriate body (ARRT or NMTCB) Upon Hire Required
  • BLS/CPR certification within 3 months Required
