Function: Intern/Co-op Job Summary:The IT Intern participates in initiatives of all sizes across the IT and related Business Functions. You are a self-starting individual with an aptitude for creative and critical thinking. You use your business and IT learnings and enjoy collaborating and helping implement positive change. You contribute to solutions that follow good data design and create insightful data visualizations to drive impactful business decisions. You love to collaborate with techies and subject matter experts to add to the vision. You balance tradeoffs with partners betweendevelopment time,usability and performance needs.You think critically, deliver and execute effectively and collaborate cross-functionally with HR and IT peers. You nurture positive, professional relationships, acting as a trusted teammate and a respectful challenger. CF Industries has a cloud first IT Strategy. Job Description: Job Responsibilities Participate and learn about developing HRIT solutions through the systems life cycle including requirements, testing, configuration, and implementation Learn to capture business needs and support creative solutions Participate in delivering functional and technical requirements to development teams Run, deliver, and review reports for business stakeholders Participates in projects in consultation with IT Security, Infrastructure Team, Business Owners and Vendors Support projects through each phase as an active participant Assist in ensuring that all deliverables are completed in accordance with Project Management methodology; contribute to the communication of status Learn the operational activities on projects and enhancements, including monitoring resource needs, preparing documentations, status reports, key issues and/or change controls Assist in maintaining the overall health of HR Systems at CF through system issue tracking and cross-functional alignment Successful incumbents will have Pursuing a Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field Basic understanding of IT and business concepts Proficiency in productivity software (ex: Microsoft Office) Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and to collaborate to deliver against the organization's goals in a deadline-oriented environment Excellent oral and written communication skills with organization and time management skills Ability to learn, demonstrate and apply knowledge of the business to deliver improvements in solutions and processes and better align IT Service with Business goals FMLA: https://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/posters/fmlaen.pdf Employee Polygraph Protection Act https://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/posters/eppac.pdf Employees in Canada can learn more about their rights by viewing the "Canadian Human Rights Act".
