As Global Category Leader you are responsible for defining and executing global category strategies forHR, Marketing, and Legal, while collaborating with business and functional stakeholders to transform Indirect Procurement from a sufficient, transactional function into a digitally enabled, industry-leading strategic capability.

You will combine category leadership with transformation ownership, responsible for driving governance, value creation, digital adoption, and advanced ways of working across global Indirect Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy & Value Leadership- Drive global category strategies for HR, Marketing, and Legal Services by aligning with corporate and transformation objectives, building multi-year value creation roadmaps beyond cost savings (including productivity, risk reduction, speed to market, and innovation), and advancing category management standards to elevate Indirect Procurement maturity.

Indirect Procurement Transformation & Maturity Uplift- Lead the transformation of Indirect Procurement to bestinclass by embedding strategic sourcing, demand management, and value governance; implementing global governance frameworks, intake and approval processes to enhance transparency and control; driving consistent adoption of global category strategies with regional flexibility; ensuring alignment and agreement with key stakeholders, and supporting teams to strengthen commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Digitalization & Data-Driven Procurement- Direct digital enablement of Consulting and Financial Services procurement by leveraging eSourcing and analytics platforms to enhance spend visibility, enable data-driven decision-making, automate processes in collaboration with IT and Finance, and support advanced capabilities such as outcome-based pricing, demand forecasting, and supplier performance management.

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Ecosystem Management- Lead complex global sourcing initiatives by executing high-value RFPs and negotiations, building a strategic supplier ecosystem that balances global and niche providers, implementing robust SRM programs focused on performance and innovation, and driving supplier rationalization and alternative delivery models to enhance agility and reduce dependency.

Stakeholder Partnership & Influence- Serve as a trusted advisor to HR, Marketing, Legal, and executive leadership by shaping demand through influence on scope, delivery models, and commercial structures, and supporting major enterprise initiatives with strong commercial governance.

Commercial Excellence, Risk & Compliance- Develop advanced commercial models (outcome-based, gain-share, and risk-sharing), while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, while considering broader business risks, supplier dependencies, and regulatory exposure.

Market Intelligence & Continuous Improvement- Monitor market, technology, and regulatory trends; benchmark Indirect Procurement against industry best practices; and continuously refine category strategies and operating models to sustain industry leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBAor equivalent preferred
  • 10-15+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement, category management, or commercial leadership
  • Deep expertise inHR, Marketingand/orLegalServices procurement
  • Proven track record of building or transforming procurement capabilities in global organizations
  • Experience driving digital procurement initiatives and operating model changes
  • Strong exposure to executive-level stakeholder engagement and enterprise transformation programs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The expected compensation range for this position is between $123,690.00 and $181,412.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
