Your Opportunity:

Heinrich Envelope, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for an experienced Press / Print Operating Technician to join the team as an Envelope Adjuster in Golden Valley, MN!

Work Authorization: To beconsidered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Sets up, operates and maintains equipment and machinery responsible for manufacturing and assembly of commercial products or services.

  • Equipment typically includes several inline processes and/or colors and requires trade skills obtained through specialized training, apprenticeship and/or certification courses.

  • Operates equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.

  • Reads and interprets work orders, blueprints, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications, quality and tolerance levels are met in a timely fashion.

  • Inspects printed material during production and changes controls to correct printing mistakes.

Your Shift: 3:20pm - 3:30am, Monday - Wednesday

You Must Have:

  • Mechanical and technical skills/aptitude

  • Basic math skills to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization

  • Ability to operate equipment to obtain proficiency as measured through production and quality standards

  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions for work orders

  • Ability to communicate professionally

  • Ability to train other adjusters/operator apprentices, up to and including Level 3 adjusters

  • Training Certified by Manager for operation, maintenance, and repairs

  • Strong attention to detail

Requirements Within This Position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand

  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position

  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials

  • Frequently required to move inside the facility

  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Ability to distinguish colors

  • Experience in a fast-paced production related environment

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $37.40 The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The rate listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
