Overview Dispatcher I will ensure the smooth operation of logistics dispatch services. This role is responsible for tracking and monitoring vehicle movements related to product pick-ups and deliveries, maintaining timely communication, and assisting with appointment scheduling. The Dispatcher I actively monitors shipments, addresses issues as they arise, and keeps accurate records of all activities, communications, and milestones. This role provides essential administrative support to the dispatch operation, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities
Monitor daily order progress and communicate delays in real time to AIT's teams and clients, while assisting with scheduling appointments and resolving issues through ticket reassignment or escalation.
Qualifications Education * High School Diploma or GED or GED (Required) and * Some College/Associate's Degree or Higher (Preferred) Experience * 1+ years Home Delivery, Final Mile or Logistics Industry experience (Required) and * 1+ years Customer service, Call Center or Retail Experience (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Medium * Strong multi-tasking, communication and coordination skills with high attention to detail. Medium * Highly self-motivated with strong accountability, consistency and follow-through skills. Medium * Ability to problem solve and work autonomously with little supervision. Medium * Ability to excel in high pressure environment with short lead times.
