Job Description
OVERVIEW The Whitebridge Finance Site Lead is a cross functional role that will allow you to collaborate with peers to achieve plant goals, partner with plant operations to support business results and the plant mission, support a strong fiduciary environment, analyze metrics and reporting, and provide business insights. At Whitebridge, our goal is to help people bring health and happiness to pets through better nutrition which we believe is natural and minimally processed foods, complements, treats, and supplements, formulated to the specific needs of dogs and cats. We manufacture and market Natural Health Nutrition Pet Products in four categories: Lifestyle Treats, Nutrition, Solutions and Prescription Diets. Our brands include Tiki Pets, Tiki Cat Veterinary Solutions, Buddy Biscuits, Cloud Star, Pet Botanics, Crazy Dog, Dogswell, and Grizzly. Brands distributed outside North America include Schesir, Stuzzy and ADoC. In North America, our products are sold in more than 8,000 pet stores and veterinary hospitals, in major retailers such as Petco, PetSmart, Walmart and Target, and online at Chewy.com and Amazon.com. We are growing globally, with distribution in over twenty-five countries around the world. The Finance Site Lead is an integral contributor to the finance and business operations of the company and has a broad range of responsibilities, including cost accounting, general accounting, reporting, financial analysis, and supporting the accounting close process where internal controls, timeliness and accuracy are critical. This position requires knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency in accounting systems, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively with cross functional partners. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, effective communicator, has great attention to detail, and can adapt to change and shift priorities quickly while maintaining organization and accuracy. This candidate should possess a general inquisitiveness for industrial matters down to the floor level, as well as an ability to think outside the box and propose new ideas to create added value to the organization and generate performance. This role works closely with the Plant Manager to detect opportunities to grow, insights for continuous improvement, drive for excellence, and value-added reporting and analysis. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
