The Student Affairs department at the UMKC School of Medicine is seeking an experienced Learning Resource Specialist. This position is responsible for assisting first and second-year medical students in a combined BA/MD program through individual coaching, specifically in study skills and test-taking strategies for a rigorous science curriculum. These students matriculate directly from high school into the program, requiring support tailored to learners transitioning immediately into an accelerated college and medical education environment. Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary, as well as three years of experience in a related program or field. Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $53,976 - $58,000 annually Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
