SUMMARY This role positions data as a strategic asset in support of the company's goals and objectives. The Data Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level business intelligence solutions, data integration processes, and analytical applications. This includes documenting data sources, integrating disparate systems, and supporting the advancement of data governance initiatives through the company's data governance platform. The engineer must drive projects to completion within established scope while adapting to evolving business intelligence requirements in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience as an integration developer working with cloud data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric), scripting languages, and the Microsoft Power Platform - including building prototypes, dashboards, integration solutions, data governance components, and applications and workflows. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) from four-year College or university in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or other related field; 3 - 5 years of experience using Data Integration architecture and tools, PowerShell, API management, SQL Server and Reporting Services SSRS, data warehouse, ETL and BI technologies, and advanced query and SQL skills. LANGUAGE SKILLS This position requires strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, as well as the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. Requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical literature, and government regulations. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. COMPUTER & SOFTWARE SKILLS
