*Professional Summary* The Revenue Operations Specialist supports critical functions within the revenue cycle, including insurance verification, collections, enrollments, cash application, and documentation management. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate patient insurance coverage, timely reimbursement, and proper account maintenance while collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external insurance payers. Individuals in this position must demonstrate strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to navigate multiple systems and workflows. This role offers flexibility to work across various functional areas and requires a commitment to continuous process improvement and compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
*Key Responsibilities* * Perform revenue operations functions including insurance collections, patient coverage verification, enrollments, cash application, and medical documentation processing * Communicate with insurance payers to ensure accurate coverage, resolve discrepancies, and support timely reimbursement for services rendered * Respond promptly and accurately to payer inquiries via phone, email, and provider web portals * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient account information within internal systems at all times * Collaborate with internal departments such as insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators to ensure continuity of care and accurate insurance data * Support cross-functional operations by rotating between assigned roles (Provider Web, Cash Application, Enrollments, Imaging) as needed * Assist in identifying operational inefficiencies and contribute to process improvement initiatives across revenue operations teams * Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and company information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies * Utilize provider portals and internal systems to research, resolve, and document account activity * Perform data entry and documentation tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail *Functional Area Responsibilities (Cross-Training)* * *Provider Web:* Set up and maintain user access for teammates within insurance payer portals to enable claims processing and patient registration * *Cash Application:* Review remittance details and accurately post payments to corresponding patient accounts and invoices * *Enrollments:* Complete electronic enrollments for claims submission, remittance, and EFT; research and resolve payer enrollment issues * *Imaging:* Scan, file, and organize medical records and supporting documentation in both electronic and manual formats *Qualifications* * Minimum of six (6) months of corporate office experience required * Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external partners * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook * Experience with data entry and completing online forms with high accuracy * Comfortable navigating multiple systems, internet resources, and provider web portals * Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to research and resolve issues independently * Ability to adapt to multiple functional roles and workflows in a cross-trained environment * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Malvern, PA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
