We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandising Graphic & Production Designer to support permanent merchandising initiatives across multiple retail accounts and formats. This role is responsible for translating Art Director-approved concepts into accurate, production-ready artwork while ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to brand standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong print production background, exceptional file preparation skills, and the ability to manage high volumes of work within fast-paced retail and merchandising environments.

Key Responsibilities



  • Translate approved creative designs into pre-production artwork across a variety of permanent merchandising formats and sizes.
  • Adapt and resize layouts while maintaining visual consistency and brand integrity prior to mechanical house handoff.
  • Execute simple layout and bullnose design work as needed.
  • Prepare mechanical production files and finalize artwork for external vendor handoff.
  • Organize, manage, and maintain creative assets within a shared cloud-based server environment.
  • Support retouching, color matching, and print proof review processes to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Partner closely with Art Directors and cross-functional teams to execute print-ready artwork aligned with creative direction.
  • Manage multiple projects and production timelines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.


Required Qualifications



  • Deep expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, including:

    • InDesign
    • Illustrator
    • Photoshop
    • Acrobat


  • Strong print production and mechanical file preparation experience.
  • Proven ability to execute production artwork within high-volume retail or merchandising environments.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, photography, and visual consistency.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Art Directors and creative teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and adapt quickly in fast-moving environments.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Beauty, cosmetics, retail, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting permanent merchandising or in-store retail displays.
