We are seeking a Senior Social Strategist to lead social brand strategy for editorial and campaign work at a global tech brand. This role sits at the intersection of creative storytelling and data-driven decision making, driving integrated social campaigns, editorial strategy, and performance measurement for high-impact marketing initiatives.

As a key cross-functional partner, you will collaborate closely with Integrated Marketing, Creative, Production, Product Marketing, PR, and agency teams to deliver innovative, platform-native social strategies that drive measurable business outcomes. This is a high-visibility role with significant ownership, requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

Social Strategy & Campaign Leadership

Lead end-to-end social strategy for tentpole campaigns, product launches, and key brand moments, inclusive of channel, content, community, and creator

Develop and manage always-on editorial programming across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube

Ensure social content is culturally relevant, audience-first, and differentiated by platform

Creative & Content Development

Develop platform-native creative briefs for internal creative and agency teams, translating business objectives and integrated campaign platforms into clear, inspiring assignments backed by data and insights

Define audience insights, tone, format guidance, and success metrics to enable best-in-class creative execution

Drive the translation of "big ideas" into multi-channel content strategies tailored by platform

Cross-Functional Leadership

Coordinate across Integrated Marketing, PR, Creative, Partnerships, and Product Marketing teams to align strategy and execution for integrated campaigns

Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on social brand marketing

Measurement & Insights

Establish campaign measurement frameworks, including KPI definition, performance tracking, and post-campaign reporting

Forecast content performance based on historical data and paid amplification opportunities

Leverage social listening, audience insights, and performance data to inform strategy and optimize content

Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to improve future performance

Operational Excellence & Team Impact

Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to capability building and team development

Drive scalable processes, workflows, and governance models to improve efficiency and consistency

Advocate for social as a strategic, measurable brand channel in leadership forums

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

6+ years of experience in social strategy, social campaign management, or social media management

Proven experience leading social strategy for tentpole campaigns, product launches, organic always-on work, and brand activations, while driving measurable impact

Deep expertise across major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube), including platform functionality, channel-native creative, community engagement, and creator ecosystem

Experience developing and presenting social strategies and creative briefs to internal stakeholders and external partners

Hands-on experience with social analytics and listening tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Tubular, Brandwatch, Meltwater, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a global consumer brand or technology company, or within a social-first agency

Familiarity with paid social strategy and media planning across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn

Experience collaborating with or managing influencer and creator programs

Understanding of social video production, including scripting and creator briefing
