This is a new role at our facility that we are looking to expand to enhance our resident's lives! Primary hours 12hr/6hr shifts with rotating weekends/holidays. Full-time or part-time positions are available!! This is a perfect position for someone who is passionate about Memory Care or is interested in entering the healthcare field but is not certified/licensed yet!! As a Dementia Champion Adie you are instrumental in providing non-nursing related care to our residents. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara St. Cloud by answering resident call lights, attending to our resident's non-nursing related needs, ensuring resident rooms are clean and sanitized, changing linens, distributing resident meals and assisting clinical staff. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care. Avantara Saint Cloud is a specialized memory care facility focused on dementia, Alzheimer's, and other memory care needs. You will be instrumental in the enhancing the quality of care for residents with Memory Care needs. You will provide individualized care for their sensory, activities, and social needs by working alongside Certified Nursing Assistants. To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: It is preferred to have a high school diploma or equivalent and a C.P.R. Certification. One (1) year of experience in a Customer Service role is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
