This is a 100% Contract position for 1 year with the possibility of extension or conversion to career status. Reporting to the VC-CFO, Information Technology Services (ITS) delivers Enterprise information technology services to the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) under the leadership of the campus Chief Information Officer (CIO). The Application Development & Integration Services (ADIS) team provides enterprise solutions for the UC San Diego community. We strive to consistently deliver quality and reliable services that help our campus achieve its administrative goals. Our combined technical resources allow us to build, integrate, host, and deliver enterprise services for both our campus and collaboratively with other campuses within the UC system. Additionally, the team offers custom integration and application development services, business analysis services and data management services for a variety of departments on the campus. Works closely with Student Affairs, University Communications and ITS stakeholders to assess evolving needs, identify opportunities for innovation, and recommend scalable, user-centered mobile solutions. Brings a strong technical background, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to align technology initiatives with the university's broader goals in research, education, and community engagement. Responsible for advancing the campus mobile platform, which includes the iOS and Android app, and dependent services and web applications. Direct involvement with the full development life cycle of mobile and dependent services, implementing best practices such as continuous integration and deployment, code reviews, and pair programming. The incumbent mentors junior team members on the technologies of the campus mobile platform. Responsibilities:
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $97,200 - $182,000 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $46.55 - $87.16 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
