Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental services for power and utility infrastructure projects across the Atlanta metro area and throughout Georgia. This role blends project management leadership with technical expertise in environmental permitting, compliance, and natural resource assessments. The ideal candidate will manage large project portfolios and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining hands-on involvement in field-based environmental inspections, regulatory compliance monitoring, environmental sciences, including wetland delineation, ecology, botany, and biology. The ideal candidate will also be able to lead and review wetland delineations, stream assessments, and ecological surveys in accordance with federal and state standards. Provide expert guidance on: environmental permitting (federal, state, and local), regulatory compliance monitoring, natural resource impact assessments, and maintain hands-on involvement in technical work to support project delivery when needed. The Environmental Project Manager - Power Sector role involves planning, executing, and overseeing projects so that they are completed on time, within budget, while meeting quality standards and health and safety requirements. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, set objectives, allocate resources, and develop detailed project plans. The role monitors progress, manages risks and change, resolves challenges, and communicates with stakeholders to provide regular updates. The role manages moderately complex projects. This role will typically manage small to mid-size projects and is expected to independently deliver results with minimal supervision, while progressively increasing revenue responsibility. Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.
