Summary
As a Physician & APP Recruiter, you will develop, implement, and assess recruitment strategies for physicians, faculty, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to meet the institution's needs and attract highly qualified candidates. You will coordinate recruitment activities by building effective relationships and efficiently managing multiple requisitions. Additionally, you will establish strong connections with departmental and organizational leaders, ensuring service excellence for all stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
Recruit qualified physicians, faculty, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs): Develop and execute complex recruitment plans with minimal supervision, ensuring efficient expense management, resource allocation, and accurate records management.
Coordinate comprehensive recruitment strategies: Partner with stakeholders to create recruitment strategy planning that will ensure an adequate supply of physicians, faculty, and APPs to meet institutional and medical staff needs, while continuously improving processes and procedures.
Evaluate and recommend improvements: Enhance sourcing and marketing campaigns to attract candidates through various channels, including direct mail, phone, and online communication.
Discern quality and utilization of candidate resources: Analyze the return on investment (ROI) of internet inquiries, referrals, databases, professional networks, consultants, and other resources to generate leads and refine recruitment strategies.
Leverage established relationships: Utilize connections with affiliates, vendors, and networks to facilitate search and selection processes for complex departments and recruiting objectives. Consult with stakeholders to describe physician market conditions and best practices.
Candidate screening and relationship building: Screen candidates, evaluate qualifications, level of interest, and timelines using advanced interviewing skills to accurately identify strengths, opportunities, and career trajectory. Build rapport with candidates and act as an advocate and guide throughout their recruitment process. Maintain candidate engagement throughout the process, addressing any questions to ensure position is filled with most qualified finalist.
Partner and consult with hiring leaders: Verify candidate credentials and qualifications before presenting candidates to internal customers. Provide best practices and resources for the interview process, reference checking, and other related activities. Resolve complex inquiries or decisions to guide departmental choices.
For faculty/physician offers, recruiter will collaborate with hiring leaders, practice leaders, and the Office of Faculty Affairs to ensure that physician/faculty offer letters and related agreements are finalized.
For APP offers, recruiter will present compensation recommendation to hiring leaders, collaborate on the final offer details, extend verbal offers, draft offer letters and related agreements, and send documents to APP finalist for acceptance.

Qualifications
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis. Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree Minimum Required Experience: 3 years Preferred Experience: Experience in physician, APP, provider, or healthcare recruitment Preferred Certification/Licensure(s): CPRP Certification through Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR)
Physical Requirements
Work requires infrequent physical effort such as walking or retrieving materials.
Work Environment
May experience slightly disagreeable features such as temperature changes or noise from time to time. Work performed in an environmentally controlled environment.
Sensory Acuity
Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects. #LI-AV1
