MAA is currently accepting applications for the position of Warehouse Assistant Supervisor within the Office of Procurement and Materials Management at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall Airport). This position assists in the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory of supplies and materials ordered into the Maryland Aviation Administration Central Warehouse for use by all MAA Departments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assisting in the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory of supplies and materials ordered into the MAA Central Warehouse for use by all MAA Departments materials and inventory control.
• Receiving and processing supply requisitions.
• Conducting physical and cycle counts.
• Maintaining equipment such as forklifts, delivery vehicles, pallets jacks, etc.., and performing other necessary duties as required.
  
  This position is located at BWI Marshall Airport in Anne Arundel County, MD.

Education: Graduation from a standard high school.

Experience: Three years of successful and progressively responsible experience in the receipt, storage, issuance and purchase or requisition of supplies, materials and equipment.

Note:

Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience in Stock/Shipping Clerk and Stock Clerk Supervisor classifications or Supply Specialist and Service Specialist specialty codes in the stockroom field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required education and experience.

Applicants must possess a Class C license valid in the state of Maryland. Applicants must list the license number and date of expiration on the application.

Some positions in this classification are assigned duties which require the individual to be examined by a physician after an offer of employment. Applicants for such positions will be given a medical examination to certify their ability to perform the essential job functions.
