Performs maintenance planning; develops, plans and executes upgrade and projects for corrective and/or preventive maintenance | Prepares designs, drawings and schedules of tasks to be performed | Sizes necessary resources to execute the scheduled maintenance | Selects suppliers and controls the quality of materials and services provided by them | Ensures the conservation of equipment and platforms and the quality of customer service in order to optimize the productivity of each equipment

Maintenance & Reliability Engineer

  • Mechanical Integrity Assessments: Support evaluations of mechanical systems to help maintain integrity and reliability. Identify potential risks and contribute to recommendations for improvement.

  • Inspection and Testing: Participate in regular inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) of mechanical equipment and components to help identify wear, corrosion, or damage. Familiarity with API Standards and ASME Section VIII Code is helpful. Exposure to UT, PT, and VT NDT methods is a plus.

  • Maintenance Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies aimed at improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime. Experience with SAP or similar maintenance systems is beneficial.

  • Failure Analysis: Assist with root cause analysis of mechanical issues and support efforts to prevent recurrence. Help document findings and share insights with the team. Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, blowers, agitators, etc.) and fixed equipment (pressure vessels, tanks, piping, etc.) is valued.

  • Compliance and Standards: Help maintain alignment with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Stay informed on relevant codes and best practices.

  • Project Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to support mechanical projects and help ensure goals are achieved.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of inspections, testing, and maintenance activities (e.g., vibration, lubrication, and oil analysis). Assist in preparing reports and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas and feedback to improve processes, reliability, and overall equipment performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Some experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

The expected compensation range for this position is between $77,270.00 and $113,322.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
