UCB's Rare Disease Organization (RDO) is looking for a Patient Support Operations Associate who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive to join our Patient Services Operations team, based in our U.S. offices in Atlanta, GA, Raleigh, NC or Boston, MA.

About the role

You will support the day-to-day operations of a patient support program, helping ensure high-quality service delivery for patients. You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to monitor performance, resolve issues, and improve processes. This role plays a key part in enhancing operational efficiency, maintaining compliance, and driving continuous improvement across patient services.

Who you'll work with

You will work within the patient services team collaborating cross-functionally with market access, compliance, information technology, and external service providers. You'll work closely with vendor partners to ensure effective delivery of patient support services and contribute to strong operational performance.

What you'll do

  • Support vendor performance to ensure timely, accurate patient support delivery
  • Monitor service metrics and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare materials and track actions for regular vendor meetings
  • Document and manage operational issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Contribute to workflow updates, process mapping, and continuous improvements
  • Compile reports and share performance insights with internal stakeholders

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years' experience in patient support with a HUB service company or pharmaceutical company
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred requirements

  • Experience working with patient services vendors or specialty pharmacies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and identify operational trends
  • Experience improving workflows or developing standard operating procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actions experience working in cross-functional or matrixed environments
  • Highly organized with strong critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable in fast-paced environments

This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $88,000 - $115,500 annually. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
