Mass General Brigham Radiology Research is seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Project Coordinator to support its leadership team in advancing one of the nation's leading academic Radiology research programs. This role is central to the effective execution of administrative operations and high-impact special projects across a complex, fast-paced research environment. The Senior Project Coordinator will serve as a key partner to senior leadership, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, streamlining workflows, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders to support the continued growth, innovation, and operational excellence of the Radiology Research enterprise.
Responsible for monitoring multiple medium to large-scale project activities, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among team members to ensure the successful execution of projects. Tracks and ensures that the schedule, budget, and details of project tasks are well-organized. Analyzes data, prepares reports, and provides regular updates to the project team. Identifies and escalates issues and risks and recommends solutions. Leads and provides guidance and support to other administrative team members.
Takes the lead in maintaining and monitoring multiple project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
Organizes, attends, and participates in stakeholder meetings.
Ensures projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
Assesses and escalates project risks and issues, providing solutions.
Conducts research, maintains and analyzes data in systems, and develops reports to support projects.
Liaise with the project team and key stakeholders to help define project requirements, scope, and objectives that align with organizational goals.
Assigns and monitors resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables.

Hours of operations:
Monday - Friday
8am to 4:30pm flexible
2 days hybrid after 90 days of training

Education

Bachelor's Degree required

Experience

Project management or project support experience

1-2 years' experience managing and executing complex projects

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Requires highly proficient/advanced administrative skills and office applications skills.
- Ability to proofread and edit written documents.
- Ability to manage more complex phone calls, and give more detailed information, solving more complex issues as appropriate.
- Highly proficient in all communication skills (phone, verbal and written).
- Ability to handle sensitive information and situations with poise and professionalism.
- Strong organizational, coordination and judgment skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
- Ability to analyze a situation and determine best course of action within established guidelines.
- Basic math knowledge with some knowledge of bookkeeping.
- Advanced understanding and use of medical terminology and comprehension of billing and fiscal information.
- Ability to demonstrate good leadership skills in a team environment, including ability to provide guidance, orient, train and assist other administrative staff.
