Purchasing Lead

What You'll Do:

• Process and manage purchase orders for materials, goods, and services to support sales, repair, and fabrication teams.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, track shipments, and resolve any delivery issues.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and components and assist with stock replenishment to avoid shortages.
• Help maintain strong, day-to-day relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable delivery and quality.
• Track and coordinate inbound freight and shipments with logistics partners.
• Assist in compiling and reviewing purchase requisitions and supplier quotes.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse and other departments to ensure purchasing activities align with operational needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.

What You'll Need:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Experience with demand planning, inventory turnover optimization, purchasing/procurement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Proficient in Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables and perform XLOOKUPs.
• Familiarity with various shipping Incoterms and international trade logistics.
• Experience with logistics software or freight management platforms.
• APICS, CPM, or CPSM certification is a plus.
