As a Security Officer Reception Console in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a retail location, you will be the first point of contact, helping manage access, greet visitors, monitor activity, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and front desk support activities at the location.
• Monitor lobby and entry activity, greet guests, verify identification and/or credentials, and direct individuals to the appropriate destination in a courteous manner.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain front desk logs, visitor records, and other required documentation, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Support a professional presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with lost and found or general inquiries, and follow emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
