ICC Job Description
JOB SUMMARY The Product Development Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Engineering Production Support (EPS) and Manufacturing Engineering (ME, LI & LII) teams and related processes. These teams create product design drawings and assembly process documentation while supporting manufacturing of cable, electronic assembly, and fiber optic products. Responsible for writing or overseeing creation of documentation which meets AS9100D and IPC/WHMA-A-620, Class 3 requirements. Leads drawing/design review process collaborating with Project/Design Engineering, Production, and Quality teams. Works directly with management, project/design engineers, production, inspection, test, quality, as well as customers to successfully document, build, improve product quality, and utilize lean manufacturing techniques. Supports the TrekConnect leadership team by providing operational input on business strategy and direction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.
