Job Description - Production Material Handler I (Contract)

Location: Portage, MI (On-site)
Schedule: 40 hours/week - 12 Months contract

Overview

Under direct supervision, this role supports manufacturing operations by handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products following established procedures and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Move, stage, and track materials/products within manufacturing areas
• Support accurate recording of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies
• Follow detailed work instructions, safety rules, and standard operating procedures
• Make simple, straightforward decisions by choosing from established solutions
• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment (as needed)

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform routine, manual tasks in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
• Comfortable following clearly defined procedures and guidelines
• Basic technical knowledge related to the tasks performed
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
