About the Position:

We're looking for a Senior Account Strategist to play a key role in driving growth across new and existing pharmaceutical and healthcare partnerships. This individual will lead strategic campaign planning and execution across complex accounts while mentoring and partnering closely with Associate Account Strategists to support day-to-day account management and team development.

With strong analytical thinking, client service expertise, and digital media knowledge, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Ad Operations, RevOps, and Analytics teams to deliver high-performing campaigns across Digital HCP & DTC, Point of Care, Print, AI, and emerging healthcare media solutions.

You will serve as a trusted strategic partner to clients, helping translate business objectives into impactful media recommendations while leveraging campaign insights, measurement solutions, and optimization strategies to exceed performance goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and passionate about identifying opportunities to evolve our offerings, strengthen client relationships, and grow revenue across the Health vertical.

Hybrid 3x a week - New York, NY
In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid with the ability to work remotely up to two days per week. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday are required in-office days.

About the Position's Contributions:

  • Lead strategic planning and execution across key pharmaceutical and healthcare accounts spanning Digital DTC & HCP, Point of Care, Print, AI, and other integrated media solutions.

  • Partner closely with Associate Account Strategists by providing guidance, mentorship, and support across campaign execution, client communication, and account management responsibilities.

  • Own pre-to-post sale campaign management and act as the subject matter expert across all aspects of campaign execution, optimization, pacing, and performance.

  • Deliver a high-touch, white glove client experience as a primary internal and external point of contact for strategic accounts.

  • Develop strategic media recommendations and proactively identify opportunities to optimize campaigns, improve client outcomes, and drive incremental revenue growth.

  • Present campaign performance insights, measurement results, and optimization recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients, helping inform future planning and upsell opportunities.

  • Leverage healthcare-focused measurement and attribution platforms, including Crossix and IQVIA, to analyze campaign effectiveness and communicate business impact to clients.

  • Ensure client strategy, KPIs, and expectations are clearly communicated and executed across Sales, Ad Operations, Analytics, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.

  • Partner with Ad Operations to ensure flawless campaign implementation, creative QA, optimization, and delivery management.

  • Monitor campaign pacing and performance closely, proactively troubleshooting issues and identifying opportunities to maximize client satisfaction and renewals.

  • Support operational excellence by reconciling billing and campaign delivery with internal and external finance teams.

  • Contribute to broader team and organizational initiatives by helping refine processes, improve workflows, and evolve digital health advertising capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience within an advertising agency, publisher, media company, or ad tech environment.

  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated-industry accounts strongly preferred.

  • Proven success managing complex digital campaigns and collaborating across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience mentoring junior team members or guiding account support resources is a plus.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and tools including GAM, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Familiarity with measurement, verification, and healthcare attribution platforms including Crossix, IQVIA, comScore, IAS, and DV.

  • Strategic and analytical thinker with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Advanced Excel skills preferred.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with a strong focus on client success and collaboration.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Positive attitude, growth mindset, and passion for building innovative solutions within the healthcare advertising space.

Pay Range

Salary: New York: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
