Description JOB PURPOSE: The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for recruitment of clients to the Veteran Wellness Center through outreach to community partners including veteran-service organizations, multi-service organizations, the Veterans Administration, and other local community partners. The Outreach Coordinator will also participate in peer-to-peer communication, presentations, and other outreach mediums as needed. Recruitment will focus on reaching veterans and their family members, and first responders can be served at the Veteran Wellness Center. The Outreach Coordinator will oversee Volunteers, and Interns to assist in achieving enrollment goals. Qualifications ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: sC EDUCATION: Prefer bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or Communications Degrees. EXPERIENCE: 3+ years in, outreach and marketing activities and knowledge of social service delivery. Prior experience within the military community and/or veteran administrative organizations. Demonstrated internship experience in working with student and academia population. Business management, project management skills required. Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Outgoing, pleasant, professional manner; the ability to create and maintain contacts in the community; and clearly articulate mission and goals of the Veteran Wellness Center. ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion. LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record. VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice. OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others. Evening and Weekends may be required for attending outreach and networking events.
