Job Description

Missouri University of Science and Technology Office of Student Involvement seeks a temporary professional student involvement coordinator to support Greek recruitment and orientation week programming. The position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree completed by hire date. This appointment is for 3 months, spanning June 3 to September 3. Typical work schedule includes up to 5 hours per week. The position will also entail up to 60 hours over a weekend during primary Panhellenic recruitment.

  • Advise Panhellenic Council, their member chapters, and their chapter advisors on recruitment, recruitment-related programming, and recruitment software.
  • Attend three days of primary Panhellenic recruitment.
  • Coordinate communication between Greek Independent Council, Panhellenic Council, and Interfraternity Council in O-week programming.
  • Attend necessary meetings and events, coordinate risk management plans, and ensure compliance with University policy.
  • Attend to Greek Member Manager actions and troubleshooting.
  • Onboard and assist the Manager of Fraternity and Sorority Life.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $22.00 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
