*Description*
Completes all nursing home pass through room and board billing. Performs Medicaid eligibility, comprehensive review of patients residing in nursing facilities related to room and board billing. Provides excellent customer service and collaboration with our nursing home partners. Performs all inpatient unit room and board billing. Performs eligibility of all payers as coverage in the department as necessary. *Skills* medical billing, claims, medicaid, commercial billing, excel, medicaid billing, skilled nursing facility, SNF *Top Skills Details* medical billing,claims,medicaid *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Must have at least 1-2+ years of MEDICAID or AR/Medical billing experience Must have HS diploma, Associates or higher a plus HUGE plus to come from a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) billing or hospice but not a must Must have strong excel skills, ability to pull data, run reports, manage data Thorough knowledge and understanding of medical billing, insurance and private pay. Strong knowledge of all medical billing requirements for Medicare, Blue Cross, Medical Assistance, Commercial insurance, and HMO carriers or Medicaid Strong collection skills, including claims follow-up and revenue cycle practices. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding practices Strong computer skills, including EMR knowledge and Microsoft Office. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Job Type & Location*This is a Permanent position based out of Hunt Valley, MD. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $60320.00/yr.
