As an Strategic Communications Specialist, you will directly support senior leaders by developing communication strategies, plans, and polished deliverables tailored to various audiences. Yourexpertiseincludes creating impactful executive-level content such as speeches, talking points, briefings, memos, and leadership communications. You will take ownership of building and implementing enterprise-level communications strategies whilemaintainingmessaging matrices to ensure consistent messaging alignment.

In addition to developing top-notch deliverables,you'llsupport senior leaders with in-person engagements, including conferences, industry events, and strategic meetings at the client's request. Whether preparing talking points, ensuring messaging aligns with organizational priorities or providing on-site support, your role will be critical in amplifying leadership effectiveness. With a knack for narrative and a meticulous attention to detail,you'llmanage responsibilities in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Additionally, your ability to travel extensively will be pivotal in ensuring seamless communication and coordination on-site.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in a strategic communications or executive communications role

• 5+ years of experience creating polished deliverables such as talking points, briefings, speeches, memos, background papers, and event preparation materials

• Experience supporting senior leadership with in-person engagements at conferences, industry events, and strategic meetings

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level communication strategies, working directly with senior leaders, and supporting executive-level engagement

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products

• Ability to develop andmaintaina messaging matrix to align organizational communications

• Ability to work independently, proactively solve problems, and consistently deliver high-quality products in an adaptable and dynamic environment

• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor'sdegree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience supporting senior leaders in the Department of Defense or other government agencies

• Knowledge of emerging communication technologies and the application of AI tools to enhance strategic communications

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Master'sdegree

Clearance:
