Cybersecurity Mission Specialist and Information System Security Manager

The Opportunity:

We're looking for an experienced cyber mission specialist like you to apply your knowledge in managing and enhancing the cybersecurity posture of munition systems in compliance with Department of War (DoW) standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to national security by safeguarding key systems and information.

In this role, you'll be the ISSM for an advanced long-range munition system and be counted on to understand and execute the DoWRisk Management Framework (RMF)process to ensure proper implementation of cybersecurity requirements using theRMF Knowledge Serviceguidelines, standards, and tools. You will implement and manage technical security controls, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance and cybersecurity. You will also lead and document security controls assessments and risk evaluations, ensuring full execution of thePlan of Action & Milestones (POA&M)for identified cybersecurity risks. You will identify, document, and report cybersecurity incidents to the Authorizing Official (AO) and appropriate reporting authorities, leading response and recovery operations as needed. Additionally, you will performContinuous Monitoring (CONMON)and security control reviews based on the defined CONMON plan to maintain an up-to-date readiness posture year-round.

Your role will be vital in the development and implementation of Continuous Monitoring and Incident Reporting for advanced Long-Range munitions.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience managing and executing Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and security assessments for DoD systems
• 3+ years of experience in identifying and implementing technical security controls, managing risk, and responding to incidents
• 1+ years of experience with eMASS and ITIPS
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or Information Technology
• DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification such as CAP, CASP+, CISM, or CISSP

Nice If You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with DoW Information Awareness and Cybersecurity Policy
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or Cyber Operations

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
