At Healthcare in Action, we serve patients experiencing homelessness through an innovative "street medicine" approach by contracting with Medicare and Medicaid health plans as well as hospitals and health systems. Street medicine entails using a medically equipped van to deliver medical care directly to people experiencing homelessness in locations such as parking lots, encampments, and parks. Street medicine entails using a medically equipped van to deliver medical care directly to people experiencing homelessness in locations such as parking lots, encampments, and parks. **This is a 99% remote position with some travel to the vans for audit preparation when needed so candidate must be local to Southern CA** The Manager, Quality and Compliance will ensure that HIA meets all pertinent regulatory standards set forth by state, federal, and other accrediting health care organizations. This role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems, compliance programs, and risk management strategies This individual will play a leading role in preparing each site for external audits and site visits. They will serve as the liaison between HIA and the SCAN Compliance Team to develop and manage appropriate policies and procedures. Ideal candidate will have mobile medicine, multiple practice oversight, or street medicine compliance experience. Responsibilities include:
